We headed down to Galveston for a fun little weekend getaway this month! Not the prettiest beaches in the world, but better than nothing haha! And so nice to go in the fall once everyone else has gone back to school, the water is nice and we have the beach practically to ourselves!
So nice to be surrounded by men that can drag all the beach stuff to the beach and I can just follow along haha!

Just so good for the body and soul to get in that ocean water. 
My sister told me to get us a big river inner tube for the beach, so I sent her a selfie using it! It was awesome!

So this guy came by with a sno cone cart – genius if you ask me.
We came back from the beach, cleaned up and ordered dinner while watching the Astros game!
The next day after we did worship, we went to the Moody Gardens Aquarium.
We love a good penguin exhibit, especially after that big penguin project we did at our half day school last year!
Seals and sea lions are my favorite!

That evening, my sister met us down at the beach to take family pictures for us! She is a wedding photographer and does great work!

We headed back to the beach the next morning for a little more time before heading home!

And look who happened to be parked at the cruise terminal, the Carnival Breeze haha! We took a cruise on this ship this past Spring Break!
That’s our beach weekend! We were so happy to have gone, but so happy to be home too!
