What I’m Reading – December 2025

Last month of 2026! I can’t believe it already been another year of books!

“It Started With a Dog” was a cute read, Jonah and Harper meet after accidentally mixing up their phones. Throw in some dogs, a competition between coffee houses and you have a meet cute!

We are officially into the time of year where I binge holiday rom coms, so get ready haha!!! “Merrily Ever After” was four short stories, I liked a couple but didn’t care for the other two.

“The Cinnamon Bun Store” was a cute read, but definitely had some scenes in the second half of the book I’m skimmed or skipped over! Cute small town feel to this one!

I listened to “Everyone This Christmas Has a Secret” and liked it, although it did feel a little hard to follow at times. I do find that I prefer listening to this author. A magic show with a murder mystery holiday twist. 🙂

I really like listening to Cindy Steel, and liked “That Fine Line!” Not a holiday rom com, but a cute chilldhood friends to lovers situation!

Not sure how many more of these I’m going to listen to, they are borderline pushing on the line of scandalous I prefer haha…but I felt like I had to check out “The Christmas Tree Farm” considering the time of year it is! Kira moves in a buys the old Christmas tree farm and farmhouse, hoping to fix it up and get it going again. Noah helps her out a lot with this, and love grows. 🙂

Just working through my Cindy Steel reads with “Double or Nothing.” Tessa’s best friend’s older brother is back in town, and being her childhood crush, it’s tough trying to figure out where things might lead. Lots of jokes and pranks, very cute!

I listened to “Merry Ex-Mas” too, and thought it was cute! She returns home after 8 years, running into her ex who happens to be living with her parents. Very cute holiday read. 🙂

Thanks for following along this year with my book reviews! One more year review coming in soon! If you’d like to see previous months from this year, check out the links below! I have more reviews from the last almost ten years under my Books tab! Follow me on Goodreads here!
