St. Louis, MO 2018 – Day 4: Transportation Museum

When you’re a boy mom, you look for all the cars, trains and planes when you take trips because well, that’s what they love. So on day 4, we met up with some of Jacob’s family and set out for the Transportation Museum.

We got our tickets and walked around the main building for a few minutes before heading outside. The boys love watching the miniature train set that was going!

We headed outside and of course there was this silly sign that the boys had to stop for some laughs hehe. We met up with Jacob’s Aunt and Uncle right after at the little train station that had hand propelled train cars for the boys to ride around a loop! It was super cute, I was honestly really surprised that Jude was interested in doing this and did it so well!img_6789.jpg

We headed around to where they had all of the big trains were housed and walked through so many cool ones! Of course on the way we saw another cut out, haha the boys loved these things.img_3698.jpg

There was also a old car museum that was really neat to walk through, the boys enjoyed looking at all of the different cars!img_6812.jpg

They had another section of trains housed under a pavilion with platforms, and you could take a train ride too around the museum center! Jude wasn’t interested in that so he hung out with me while baby brother took a nap.

Of course, after Jenson napped and ate, he had the hugest blow out of his life! I’m talking, there was so much poop on his outfit that I just threw it away. And of course is was on my sweater too. And you’ll also notice that nope. I did not take my sweater off, because it was cold. I mean, are you a real mom if you are afraid to wear poop around all day??? It’s a valid question. 😉

We took another little train ride around the museum center and then got ready to head out!

We left the Transportation Museum and grabbed some lunch at a BBQ restaurant, it was so good!

For dinner, we headed out to grab some tacos at a nearby shopping center at a restaurant called Mission Taco. I grabbed the fish tacos and they were delicious! I walked around a bit while we were waiting for our table, there were so many cute little restaurants and shops here! My favorite was an olive oil tasting shop! So many different flavors!

img_6870.jpgAfter dinner we took baths and went to bed! The boys were pooped out from such a full day!img_6872.jpg
