Seattle, WA Trip – March 2019: Day 2

We started our second day in Seattle with the most delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches from The Essential Bakery Cafe. People. I could eat here every day of my life and be completely happy about it haha!

Since Jenson was waking up super early here, (yay going west with little ones haha!), we took our mornings a bit slower paced and let him get a short nap in before heading out for the day. I love holding this little man and just watching him sleep.

And we’re ready to head out!

Pardon us, we’re just having a moment. 😉

Today we are headed to the Woodland Park zoo! I have heard great things about this zoo so we were excited to check it out today! Snapped a picture of the road/city/landscape on the way, excuse my phone reflection! 😉 It is just so pretty here, everywhere you look!

And we made it! Always have to take an entrance picture!

Both of my cousins and their families met us here today, we were just so excited to spend some time together and let the kids get together. I love how even though we are far apart distance wise, we have still been able to maintain our relationships and it’s like time hasn’t even passed when we get to meet up!

Little man and his beanie!

I loved this park so much because it really does feel like the woodlands inside, lots of cool trails with plenty of trees!

You know how it is with lots of kids, you HAVE to get a picture of all of them, and keeping everyone still/facing forward and not running away is like an olympic feet haha! We saw this hippo statue and everyone was easily compelled to sit on his back for a few minutes! Love this little people and their parents so much!

So more shots of the zoo and animals we got to see today!

We found a fox statue, so of course Jude had to go take a picture with it. If you know him, you know he has had Fox his whole life, and really became attached to him around 5-6 months old, we literally do not ever leave Fox behind haha!

It was pretty chilly out today! We stayed bundled up!

My cousin Adam and his sweet wife, Ashley!

They had this really cute indoor play area for kids, so you better believe we grabbed some zoo coffee and let the kids run around and play for a little bit!

Isn’t this so cool??? Jude loved the slide!

You know you always feel like a rockstar when you can get your kid to nap out at places haha! Ergo carrier to the rescue!

After we finished up at the zoo, we headed back to my cousin’s house for dinner. I was so excited to finally get to see their place! It’s so cute and in a great part of town, they can walk to so much!

My other cousin’s wife, Amber, I have known her my whole life!
Little girls just know that my Dad is a father of daughters hehe, my cousin’s daughter would not leave his side! It was so adorable.

We headed back to our place after dinner and turned on our fireplace! It was nice and toasty!

Well, that’s a wrap for day 2! So far this trip has been just so enjoyable, we can’t wait to see more of the city and look forward to the rest of our time here! Check out the link below for our first day traveling!
