Day 4!! Going to one of my favorite places today!!! 🙂
Look familiar?? I love slow mornings so much. Give me coffee, a book and a nice view and I’m set.
Snuggly cute visitors are always welcome. 🙂
Visiting the San Diego Zoo today!!!
A little bit has changed since we were here in 2015 hehe!!!
I mean…. Seriously cannot believe how big my little guy is.
We started at the Reptile house, the boys love all things snakes, skinks, frogs….
Got up close and personal with some tortoises!
They wanted to take a picture on this haha!
Jude is still a lover of komodo dragons! Always a fave in his book!
I told the boys that I had held a Madagascar hissing cockroach years and years ago at a science workshop and they didn’t believe me haha…It’s true!!
We grabbed some lunch and then waited in line for the sky tram.
Ready to go! We had to split up but thankfully our stroller was small enough to come with us!
Heading across the park!
We were right behind! 🙂
Loved this bird’s eye view of the park!
We headed to see the polar bears, I was missing the pandas SO much, but these guys were really cool too! I hate that the panda contract ran out with China and they had to send them back haha!
It was fun seeing them out and walking around.
Saw lots of cool bird exhibits!
We got lots of treats and snacks!
Checked out the penguins!
Stopped at a pretty waterfall for a family photo. 🙂
Saw lots of big cats!
We loved the koala house, they were so sweet! Reminded me of when we were in Australia and got to pet one!
My cheetah man! He has loved cheetahs for as long as I can remember, he loves how fast they are.
Jude was SO excited to see a Fennex fox!! He’s been our fox man since he was a baby.
Here’s a better shot. 🙂
Lots of giraffes were out!
And camels too!
Jenson was tired and cold by the afternoon hehe, he doesn’t nap anymore but he still kind of has a slump in the afternoon when he’s just tired and needs to rest.
Loved seeing the elephants!
This zoo is just so pretty, I loved how you could see Balboa park off in the distance!
Saw some manatees hehe!
And then hit the gift shop. It’s hard when you want all the stuffies and Mom gives you a budget that definitely won’t buy all the stuffies. 🙂
We went to the Crack Shack for dinner! I kept seeing reviews about how good the chicken and biscuits were here, so we came and gave it a try!
The boys had fun playing some games before we headed out!
A really big chicken haha….
I love how hard he tries at everything he does, it was so cute watching him play.
Not the greatest lighting, but the jacarandas line the streets everywhere over here!
Another beautiful sunset to end the day!
