Our last day heading home is a short post, but boy was it a day. It was a ROUGH morning getting people up, fed and dressed, Jackson was super anxious about the flight, and I was also dealing with anxiety and just exhaustion I think. I always have anticipatory anxiety when it comes to flying, I really don’t know why because once I get to the airport and get checked in I’m usually fine…maybe it’s actually just trying to get everything packed up and the rental car returned that was stressing me out haha… anyway, here we go! Headed back to Texas!
I always am in awe at how much “stuff” five people need for seven days haha…and kudos to Jacob for packing it all into the mini van and getting us through the airport! Jackson was a big help too, and so was Jude pushing suitcases for us this time.
The Atlanta airport has a really cool tram you ride from one part to the other, we were in the front car this time. I love the reflection of Jude’s face, he’s so happy!
Once we got to the airport, we stopped for some pizza on the way to our gate.
On the plane and ready to go! Jackson struggles so much with his ears popping and hurting, trying to figure out what to do to help him so send all the tips my way! We tried some ear plugs from Amazon this time but they didn’t help him much.
Headphones on, watching some Paw Patrol!
The flight attendant gave the boys some wings, it was so nice and they loved them! The man sitting next to us on this flight was so kind too, his name was Haus, like “house” he said.
So glad to be back on our way to the truck! Now for our drive home haha!
Thanks so much for following along! Hope you enjoyed the trip with us! 🙂 Check out our full list of days below!
