Get ready for the day I have been waiting for ever since we booked this trip haha….IT’S PANDA DAY, PEOPLE!!! I have been obsessed with pandas ever since I saw them in Washington D.C. when I was five years old, they were just so beautiful and peaceful, I just love them so much. Honestly I have dreams of working at a panda reserve in China haha… maybe I can at least travel to one one day! Anyway, get ready for some panda spam from Zoo Atlanta!
Zoo Atlanta was also part of our city pass, so that made it really convenient getting in!
Started off our visit by seeing some stinky flamingos haha!
And a beautiful bald eagle! These guys are just so amazing!
Jackson said this one was a clouded leopard, I couldn’t remember haha!
And it begins. The whole reason why I wanted to come here today haha…
The faces of little boys who have already been at the panda exhibit for a while and know their mom has no intention of leaving any time soon!
This guy was right up against the glass! I loved it!
They were so funny to watch, they played around with each other, woke each other up, it was just so fun to watch them.
Reluctantly, we moved on to the next animal! Jude found a Lego fox along the way!
The komodo dragon popped his head up out of the water as soon as we walked up! I can’t blame him though, it was so hot today!
The boys were really excited to see the Red Panda too, he was so cute!
Saw some gorillas hanging around!
My baby birds hehe!
This giraffe hung his head around the fence! I couldn’t believe how long his tongue was!!!
Jackson loves anacondas and other snakes right now!
Just having a little conversation with the big turtle thing haha…
Thought this lizard was so cool! I can’t remember what he was called though.
The usual suspects were also there…zebras…
elephants…
lions…
We stopped for a cold treat!
Mom got some too!
Rhinos!
Meerkats…
And alpacas! Alpacas are so hilarious to me, I would love to have land one day and get a few of these big guys haha…
Did mom make us go back to see the pandas before we left? You bet she did haha…
We rode the little train around the park 🙂
And then hit the gift shop on the way out. Jude always takes him time deciding so everyone else was waiting on him haha…
After a long, hot day at the zoo, a dip in the pool was a nice way to end the day!
