Atlanta, GA – June 2022: Day 4 – Church and Legoland

I’ve always enjoyed visiting other churches when we travel, and we always value spending time worshiping our Lord even when we are away from home. We visited Embry Hills Church of Christ, where one of our friends worships, so it was really nice seeing her husband and son while we were there.

After church, we ate lunch at The Mad Italian! It was a cute restaurant on the way back to our hotel. It did take a while to get our food, but everything was delicious.

After we had lunch, we went back to the hotel to change and then drove over to the Legoland Discovery Center. I wasn’t super sold on us doing this today because of reviews I read, but the boys were VERY excited about going to a Legoland. As you can imagine, our house is packed with Legos, so they were so excited to go to the discovery center.

First off they had all of these little spots that showed you how Legos were made, and other fun things like converting your weight to Lego bricks!

This section was neat, but there were parts that weren’t working at all or not well, but thankfully the rest of the center was better hehe!

I always love seeing cities made out of Legos, they had the city of Atlanta set up in a big room!

This was the Stone Mountain part!

I loved this portion of downtown with the Ferris Wheel! I wish we had had time to ride that when we were there that day at the aquarium.

We waited in line to ride the Lego ride, the boys thought it was fun getting to shoot things hehe!

They had a really nice play area that the boys played in for a long time!

Then the boys got to make racecars and send them down huge ramps!

We also got to make Lego bracelets to take home!

And then we went shopping of course haha! London is probably my most favorite city I have ever visited, Sydney taking a close second! Jacob said I should grab this for my shelves over the desk area in the laundry room, so mom got something today too!

We ate dinner at the food court outside of the discovery center, it was in a mall so that made grabbing food easy because we were all starving haha! We headed back to the hotel to enjoy the rest of our evening!
