Atlanta, GA – June 2022: Day 1 – Traveling from TX to GA

This summer we decided to take a trip over to Atlanta, GA! I know it seems kind of like a random choice for a place to visit, but a they have a TON to do there, and there are pandas at their zoo, so if you know me at all, you now understand why I wanted to go haha…I have been obsessed with pandas since I was five years old and we saw them at the zoo at Washington D.C. We took a vacation to San Diego when Jackson was little and saw them there too! I have dreams of traveling to China to the panda reserves there haha! OK, enough about pandas, on to our trip details!

Since we don’t have a guest room in this house (the boys decided they each wanted their own room once we moved in!), I used the dining room to get us packed and organized for our trip haha, CHAOS! AHHH! The dogs are like, uh what is going on…

Went and dropped the girls off at their doggie hotel hehe! We love Waggie Pet Zone so much!

All loaded up and ready to go! That is the one thing about living in College Station, we have to factor in a drive to the airport that we used to not have living in Houston hehe! Not complaining though, because I would take that over dealing with the insane traffic there day in and out!

Got the truck parked and onto a shuttle to the airport!

We got the boys lunch, and I literally sat here for five minutes watching Jenson enjoy his pizza because it was so cute haha.

About to board the plane!

My seat buddy!

Our view across the aisle!

Jenson reached for my hand during take off, I just love him so much.

We grabbed dinner and made our way across Atlanta to our hotel room! The traffic was awful, but we finally made it! Jenson got in a little nap once we got moving!

I found this Hyatt House there that was basically like a little apartment! It was a really great set up for the week having two rooms and a living area!

Jacob always appreciates random photos without warning hehe!

That is our first day traveling! It’s always a little stressful getting there, but it’s worth it! More posts coming on the rest of our days this week!
