Aggie Game Weekend

I love the Aggies. My husband and I both graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007, and we have so many fun and amazing memories from our time there. This weekend, we traveled up to College Station to see the Aggies play and take our boys to their first football game! We had such a fun weekend with some dear friends of ours, and it was so fun to share this neat place and experience with our kids!

Of course, no road trip is complete without a stop to Starbs for some coffee and cake pops!

This little one thinks the portable DVD player is soon cool haha…

We had an easy drive, and met our friends, Randy and Erica, for lunch at Blue Baker which was yummy! After lunch, we headed back to their house for Jude to take a nap. Of course, there was no way Jackson was napping today because there is just too much excitement about being at your friend Jackson’s house! We hung out and talked, the kids played inside and outside, and then we went to another dear friend’s house for dinner!

Doggie besties!
Love this cheesin’ face so much!
I think Hailey felt like she had two younger brothers the whole weekend haha… three if you count Jude! ๐Ÿ˜‰
This sweet friend is so dear to my heart! Rachel was such a mentor to me during my time in College Station, constantly opening her home, family and heart to Jacob and I. Can’t say enough good things about her and her family.

Ok, I LOVE this picture… these two big boys were born the first year I was in school at A&M. It blows my mind that they are so grown up! I love seeing these sweet guys with my little guy, brings back so many memories of when we would babysit!

Love this one too, sweet kiddos!

Game day started with donuts! He was so excited haha… it’s been a while since we’ve had donuts!

The Jacksons… “We’re pretty much twins, because we’re both Jackson.” – Jackson H. haha
It’s game time people!

My beautiful friend, Erica. Love her tons!

These headphones were cracking me up… I wasn’t sure if the boys would wear them but bought them anyway because the games are SO LOUD now. The boys actually did wear them off and on though to just take a break.

So I have a former student in the Aggie Band this year! Loved watching him march tonight!

So Erica’s sweet Dad (Papa Bean) came back with a few goodies for the boys… Jude loved his little Aggie finger and both boys loved their Reveille dogs. They both sleep with them at night now!

We finished out the weekend with church on Sunday morning and lunch at Grub! They have the best burgers! It was such a fun weekend, so awesome to share such a neat place with our kiddos. I literally got chills when we sang the Aggie War Hymn at the game. It was great to see so many friends too! I hope we will be able to go back soon! ๐Ÿ™‚ Gig ’em Ags!
