Corpus Christi, TX – July 2021: Day 3

Day 3 was a full day at the Texas State Aquarium! I love aquariums so much, when I was growing up I wanted to work at Sea World SO badly, I seriously was very close to going to Texas A&M in Corpus to major in Marine Biology!

Y’all, I love these beach bums so much haha, I couldn’t resist having them throw up a peace sign in their cool shades!

Saw the Lexington on our way in!

I love this little nugget so much!

We are here!

Started off with the pyramid sections, saw some flamingos!

This exhibit is neat, you can look from above, down below to a ship wreck sort of tank.

I could watch these tanks all day haha! It’s so relaxing!

They are always excited to spot some sharks!

I love his little face popping through here haha!

You know Mom has to get a shot of this!

They had the dolphin show going this year, it was SO hot and crowded but we had a great time watching it!

I love the little sea otters so much!

They had these artistic sculptures set up that were made from all kinds of random trash, they were really cool!

You can go under the dolphin tank and watch them swim around, they are just so beautiful…

After a full day at the aquarium, we headed back down to Padre Island and stopped off at a La Palma Mexican Restaurant for some yummy mexican food!

I absolutely do not visit the beach without my Countersun After Sun Cooling Gel, because inevitably Mom will reapply sunscreen to everyone else but herself haha, usually somewhere along the way I get burned a little and this stuff helps so much!

Check out our previous trips to Corpus Christi here and check out the link below for Day 4!

Aquariums are so much fun! Guess you learned that from when you were growing up!
