I finished up the Bridgerton series this month and basically fell flat on my face not knowing what to read next haha! After an eight book series, it feels so weird reading something else!

Francesca’s story, “When He Was Wicked” was probably my least favorite of the whole series…it just felt like it went on and on without action, I couldn’t take it haha! I just about cried in relief when they finally got together, it was just kind of a strange story!

“Its In His Kiss” was a cute story, I really enjoyed this one a lot! Hyancinth helps Gareth translate an Italian diary, helps him with his horrible father and mystery surrounding his real father and what happened to his mother…so much went on in this one!

I also loved “On the Way to the Wedding,” what a great way to tie up the whole series!! Gregory falls in love with Lucy’s best friend, who is in love with someone else, so Lucy tries to avert disaster by distracting him from her friend! She falls in love with him, but she is already promised to someone else and can’t get out of the arrangement. SO much happened in this book, it was so fun to read!

I listened to “How to Talk to Anyone” but wasn’t that impressed with this one. I love little tips and tricks about talking to people, but this one droned on and on… I was glad when it was done!

I have been looking through Julia Quinn’s other book and decided to read “The Bridgertons Happily Ever After.” I had already read most of this book with the added excerpts at the ends of her novels, but there was also other added stories as well!

IT’S TIME. Time for holiday reads! I seriously get SO excited this time of the year when I can start downloading all of the fun Christmas and wintery reads! “Alaskan Holiday” was cute! I listened to this story about how Josie took a chef’s job in a remote Alaskan town, only to try to make it big in Seattle, and realize that her heart was back in Ponder with Jack.

“The Christmas Book Flood” was cute too! Set in Iceland in 1944, Tatiana is hosting her niece for the season as she works at a publishing house. This story was all about books, how they make life special, and falling in love with the perfect one, all in a Christmas setting. Yes please!

I also really liked “Christmas on Fifth Avenue!” Evie gets taken by a scam, and then unceremoniously ridiculed online about it. A fancy New York hotel sees it and decides to reach out to her, giving her the holiday experience of a life time. Noah, a professional soccer player in a tough spot, happens to also be at the hotel, and you can imagine how that will go. I kept thinking the whole time that my oldest would be so proud of me for reading a book about a soccer player haha!
