I think one of the things I love most about traveling, is that no matter where you go, you can always find other Christians honoring God on Hjs day. We’ve always felt like even though we’re not at home, it’s important to spend time worshipping Him at the start of our week. Some of my most special memories from trips are the people I’ve met and sharing time of worship together. I can’t help but think of Hedy in Singapore, and the kindness she shared with me when I was so far away from home.
This Sunday on our trip, we visited Ellisville Church if Christ, where Jacobs parents worshipped when they lived in St. Louis. It was nice to worship with Jacob’s family and also catch up with old friends there.
The boys loved running around in the green space next to the building after services. It was beautiful outside!
We went over to Jacob’s Aunt’s house for lunch, and actually forgot to take pictures! I know, SO I like me haha! After lunch, we went back to the hotel so the boys could nap, and then headed over to Jacob’s grandma’s house to get together with that side of the family for dinner.
We had a nice time visiting and playing, I got to meet a number of Jacob’s relatives, and his Grandmother really enjoyed seeing the boys again. She was so thankful for our visit this week, it was sad leaving because I’m not sure when we will get to see her again. I told Jacob again tonight, that I was just really glad we had come this week to see her. Our week is flying by, it’s hard to believe that tomorrow is our last full day here!
