Our last full day in San Diego…saaaaadnesss….we totally could have stayed another day or two, there is just so much to do here! We didn’t even touch Legoland, the safari, Old Town San Diego and so much more…there was a nature reserve downtown I wanted to do today as well but we just didn’t have the time to squeeze it in!
Jenson got this little water fish game that looked like a cell phone at the aquarium, he was so proud of it haha…
Our first stop today was to see the USS Midway! We didn’t take the time to take the tour since we had other stops to make today, but we definitely were wanting to!
The Kissing Statue, so iconic!
The boys loved looking at the planes on the deck!
Jacob was on a call for work so Mom took a family photo without him haha…
Oh there’s Dad!
Still on a call….
Next on our list was the drive over the bridge to Coronado Island for the rest of the day!
Mexican food on the patio seemed appropriate!
Longest work call ever in life. Let me tell you how happy I was about it!
After we ate, we found street parking and then walked to the beach! Coronado Island is so beautiful, there are just flowers everywhere!
I loved the succulents and rocks here!
The prettiest walk to the beach!
So many gorgeous houses too!
We made it!
Coronado Beach is one of the best in the nation!
The famous Hotel de Coronado!
We love some beach time! It was so cold in the water that we just walked around and waded for the most part!
The sand here was gorgeous, it’s hard to see but there were golden flecks all in the sand!
The boys were so excited to find intact sand dollars! We found so many!
Collapsable sand bucket for the win!
Yes, lots of pictures for mom haha!
I love it when he asks to take one with just me and him. 🙂
Beach angels hehe.
In our happy place!
More pretty flowers!
We had to hit Mootime Creamery before we left! They have delicious ice cream and….
The most insane ice cream sandwiches you’ve ever seen haha!!
Our evening was spent eating room service and packing up for our flight the next day!
Our last sunset in San Diego on the bay!
