We were up bright and early again on my 38th birthday to head back to the Stock Exchange to ring the bell and make Kodiak Gas Services officially public!
Had to find some Kodiak green to wear today. π
Lots of company photos outside before we headed in!
We were served breakfast, and then heard from someone at the stock exchange make a speech.
Next, we heard from the company CEO.
Getting closer to it being time!
There was a financial broadcast going on right behind where we were standing, it was pretty cool!
Time to ring that bell! It was so loud haha!
Pictures with their auditing team.
It’s official!
Loved this old bell display!
After the ringing the bell ceremony, we walked back to the hotel to change for the rest of the day.
Jacob had a little work to do, no one is surprised haha…
My Mom facetimed me and they sang me happy birthday! I was so sad to wake up and not be able to squeeze my boys today, can’t wait to celebrate with them when I get back!
After we changed, we walked down to the subway station and passed this church…
Which had Alexander Hamilton’s grave!
Subway selfie!
We went to a Russian Tea room and had a proper Russian tea. π
It was right next to Carnegie Hall!
After the tea, we split up and headed down to SoHo to do a little birthday shopping. π
And then back to our hotel to rest a bit and change for dinner and a fun night out!
La Columbe was right across the street from our hotel, and seriously…some of the best iced coffee we’ve ever had. It was so delicious.
All dressed up and ready for dinner and a show!
We had dinner at Mezcali, which was a cool west coast feel Mexican restaurant.
I got a bowl, the food was good here!
Time Square!
To see The Lion King!
It was so good, seriously, the opening number had me tearing up. All of the costumes, the music…it was just so good.
The best way to spend a birthday!
I’m always amazed at how busy this place is late at night haha!
And the boys had a fun day at the splash pad hehe!
That was our second day! Click here to see our first day in the Big Apple!
