New York City Vaca 2014 – Day 4 (Back Post)

We started today off with breakfast at a yummy little bakery called Bouchon Bakery. It had good coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pastries, but was a little overpriced we thought. Still, it was nice sitting outside on the patio and enjoying our breakfast while watching people walk by! We took the subway down to Battery Park, where we walked around a bit and let Jackson take a nap before getting onto the ferry to cross over to Liberty Island. I absolutely loved going over to the see Statue of Liberty today, it was grand and so much bigger in person! We wished that we would have had time to go over to Ellis Island, but alas it did not work out!

My poor tired baby! He did not sleep well at all this trip! :0( But he looks so cute in his little sweater today!
Bros on the subway!
Love this lady!
Waiting to take the ferry across to Liberty Island! It was so cold and windy today!
On the ferry!
I love this little goober!
I love his little hat and cargos today too! Such a trendy man!
Getting off of the ferry onto Liberty Island.
Looking back from Liberty Island.

Once again, Mommy is very happy that little man is taking a nap!
Walking to the 9/11 Memorial

We walked by the Tribute Center, but because of time we decided to go straight to the Memorial. I loved this Memorial Center, it was such a nice tribute to all of the people who passed away on the day, for their families and for all of the city workers who worked tirelessly to help them. It was a little eerie actually being there, after seeing so much only on TV or in the newspapers. We were definitely glad that we were able to stop by and experience the Memorial.

Waiting in a line to get into the Memorial Center area. I love this picture, these girls were so sweet and thought my little man was so cute!

Another one of my favorites from the trip!

We walked down to the Century 21 shopping center. We shopped a little bit, but then Jacob and I decided to go get a little bit of ice cream and rest a little bit.

Serious conversations with Daddy.
We took the subway back to the hotel and got ready for bed after eating some dinner. Little man was pooped after today!
