Yep, I’m that person (ahem former science teacher) that takes pictures from the plane and constantly is looking at land features we’re flying over haha…
Brought a super cute book to read on this super cute balcony patio. 🙂
Our first night there, it promptly started raining and was freezing. I was totally unprepared haha…we walked to the Starfish for dinner and it was so delicious!
The next day, we walked around the resort property a bit…
I always think these bird of paradise flowers are so interesting!
And then found a cozy spot to read before we had lunch and went to the spa for the afternoon.
This little guy was hanging out on the balcony today haha!
Of course we had to have a day of shopping….
And maple bacon donuts with fried chicken haha…I thought I was going to have a heart attack eating this but it was so. good.

The sunset was so beautiful!
More reading by the pool? Well ok, if I must.
Walked down the beach on our last day there, just had to put my feet in the water!
And yes, it was freezing haha…
Last breakfast of the most delicious waffles and chantilly cream…I literally cried when I finished eating it haha….
Free hats on the way out!
And headed home! Enjoyed this much needed get away so much… just don’t know what I would do without this friend, Erica has been my rock for over twenty years now, just can’t imagine doing life without her.
