I was talking with Ashley about meal plans for the week (we chat a lot about what we are cooking and swap ideas!) and she told me she was making pickles for the burgers they were grilling! She said they were super easy, she was right, and sent me the link!

Since we were planning on grilling over the weekend, I grabbed some cucumbers, vinegar, pickles, salt and fresh dill and made some of our own! It was super easy and the boys even helped!
Cut up your cucumbers, the link says 1/8 inch slices but I did mine a little thicker!
Add 1/2 cup vinegar, 3 tsp. coarse salt, chopped fresh dill into a jar and shake it up!
Of course, each of my little helpers had to give the jar a shake!
Put the jar into your fridge and then just reach in and shake it every couple of hours. The link says they are prime around 6-8 hours and then will last up to three weeks! We really enjoyed the fresh taste of these pickles with our burgers, they will definitely be a repeat around here!
