We started off day 4 with some fun company at breakfast! With Disney not doing dining plans, and having limited space for reservations, I wasn’t able to get a reservation for Breakfast with Mickey before we left. However, since we were staying at the Contemporary, I was able to get on the wait list as soon as it opened that morning and we basically walked right on in! It was a little silly the way the characters wouldn’t come close to you, but hey, it’s better than nothing! If you missed our Disney fun from the day before, catch up here!
I mean, was someone excited or what haha… The characters would come in and wave to everyone, and spend a little time at each table so that you could take pictures with them in the background. We just couldn’t stop laughing at how cautious they were, I mean they are in a huge costume with lots of protection, but I guess you can’t be too careful when COVID is concerned haha!
The boys LOVED seeing the characters up close, get ready for lots of pictures with them!
Ok, can we also take a moment to look at ALL OF THIS FOOD?!?! Good grief! It was so delicious though, carb heaven haha!
I love this one so much! Hi Mickey!
I finally got the bright idea to do a selfie so the parents could get in on the fun hehe!
After we ate, we walked back to the room to finish getting ready and getting our things for the day…can you tell where we are headed?? 😉
When you’re trying to get a family selfie in front of the sign and some random dude didn’t get the memo haha!
Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks, it has some really beautiful spaces I think!
We walked over to the Avatar section first, I am always just so amazed when I see all of this…it’s so interesting and creative…
We rode Na’Vi River Journey first…
And after that we came out and the Bug’s Life show. So disclaimer…it has been years since we saw this show, and I forgot how scary it could be for little ones. Jenson was basically terrified and I felt like a horrible mom haha, come to Disney Jenson! It’ll be fun! Eeeek! Sorry little one!
We headed to Dinoland next after grabbing some lunch, we had some pretty excited little boys for this part!
They were being scary T-Rex dinosaurs hehe…
I love their little faces poking out here hehe!
We stopped to watch the new Kites water show, and while we were waiting for it to start, some characters came by on a boat!
Thought this was a pretty cute show with the blow up kites and jet skis, it was just blazing hot!
Snack time! I love this little boy’s sweet face so much…
Or course when I saw the snack I got, he wanted that too and finished it off for me haha…who can resist pineapple dole whip?!!?
We got in line for the Lion King show and really enjoyed that! It was shortened to accomadate more shows with smaller audiences but it was still good!
He was so happy watching this one!
After the show, we headed over to the Safari ride! It’s my favorite thing out here!
And then we hopped onto the railroad to go out to Rafiki’s Conservation Station.
It’s this way everyone!
The boys loved looking at all of the random animals out here and seeing the vets at work.
We did the petting zoo before we headed out!
Komodo dragon for these guys!
And the token family picture in front of the iconic Tree of Life. 😉
We stopped at this Dinosaur souvenir shop before heading out…we were going to eat dinner at the Restaurantasaurus but of course it closed early and I didn’t get out meal ordered in time! Boo!
So, as you could probably have guessed, we ordered food and ate in the hotel room, the boys’ favorite thing! Jude is obsessed with this flat bread pizza, I love how he set up his dinosaurs around his plate! That’s our Day 4! Hard to believe we are half way through our trip! Day 5 at Epcot will be up next!
I love all of your Hakuna Matata shirts! And the character pictures at breakfast are so cute! Looks like some sweet memories!
