Well, when the people that buy your house kick you out and you have no where to go, you move up your planned trip and go to Disney World haha… When I initially had this idea I thought it was brilliant. When it came to actually getting things packed for all of the in between sections during those three weeks, I thought I was a crazy person. It was probably the hardest packing job I’ve ever had to do, but looking back on it, I think my brain blocked out a lot of it because I’m glad we did it and I don’t remember those packing details!
I always get the kids little surprises for our trips, it gives them something new on the plane to play with and it’s just plain fun to get surprises. 😉 My mom did something similar when we were growing up and I just remember that vividly from my childhood.
We made it to the airport, I hate that those masks are covering up their happy smiles!
Waiting in line for security!
Hobby has the cutest airplane playground, we had a few minutes to spare so Jenson and I went to check it out!
Ready for take off!
I told you those prizes would come in handy!
Jenson following all of the mask rules haha…thankfully everyone was really understanding and just gave us gentle reminders…I don’t know who ever thought 3 year olds wearing masks was a good idea, it’s really bothered me a lot from a safety perspective but we’re doing the best we can with it!
Riding the tram in the Orlando airport!
We opted for personal transportation to the resort rather than using the Disney bus service. The last time we used that we rode around for almost an hour because we were the last stop and then our bags didn’t get to our room until almost 9 p.m. that night! No thank you!
They had car seats for the boys and snacks! So nice!
WE MADE IT!!!! And we didn’t forget Foxy this time haha!!!!! I will never forget the time we came when Jude was about 15 months old and we forgot Fox at home. I am not ashamed to say that as soon as we got to the resort I Amazoned a Fox to our hotel next day haha….That night without him was rough to say the least!
We are ready for some fun!
Because of our flight times, we were starving once we got to the Contemporary Resort. We headed to the pool side restaurant and got something to eat!
This was our first time staying here and we really liked it! It had a convenient location, the room was nice…we had an overall really nice stay here.
I love these brothers so much, I just feel so amazingly blessed that God sent them my way. They are the best friends and so sweet to their mama, I just love spending time with them and doing fun things together.
Yes, I’m half dead. BUT we made it haha, we’re here. We are ready to DISNEY! But maybe tomorrow after I sleep a little bit haha…
Our room had the prettiest view of the bay! We stayed in the Garden tower, so not the main tower, and we really liked it!
It felt so peaceful here, I loved being by the water.
Of course, as soon as the boys walked past the pool area to our room they were begging to go swim. After we ate, we got changed and spent a little time at the splash pad and swimming around!
Giving Daddy kisses!
While the boys took baths, I put in a mobile order for our dinner and walked to the main tower to pick it up. Picnic on the floor watching Mickey! One of their favorite things this week!
It was such a good travel day, we are so happy to be here, a very nice distraction from what was going on back home!
We have taken other Disney trips before, I think I have blogged about one, maybe two haha…If you’re interested, you can check them out under my Travel tab! More of our trip to come!
That Contemporary Resort looks really nice! I love that pool and splash pad area. I bet the boys loved that!
They loved it! Had such a great time!
