We woke up in Stowe, VT ready to do some sightseeing!
They had the cutest breakfast spread in their lobby area, fresh breads that were so delicious!
Other side of the lobby area 🙂
There was a hot tub and fire pit area at AWOL, very cute!
We took a slow morning and sat on the patio reading for a bit before we headed out. Side note, these were the cute A frame cabins that we thought we were booking haha…
We made it to town and got ready to do some shopping!
Loved all of the Stowe things we saw today!
Just really enjoyed walking around downtown Stowe, it was a beautiful morning!
We got lunch at a cafe and sat outside to eat. There was a travel bus full of older people that was touring around the country, this sweet woman sat and chatted with us for a bit. She reminded me so much of Jacob’s grandmother, she was even from Missouri!
Lunch selfie!
Ok, looks like not a big deal…but this was an apple sausage quiche, with pumpkin sweet tea and a maple caramel chocolate chip cookie, and it was all amazing!
I took so many pictures just looking up and down the street, I love walkable places like this!
We found some goodies for the boys at Shaw’s!
Just loved the look of all of the buildings in town.
There was a surprising amount of traffic through town, it was pretty much non stop throughout the day.
There were a number of historic homes that had been turned into businesses.
Planning on eating here at the Butler’s Pantry before we leave!
I always love how when you finally get to see iconic places like this, they are under construction haha…
We grabbed some afternoon coffee at Black Cap!
And sat on the front porch to enjoy the view. 🙂
We walked around some more…
Shopped at a few more stores…
Made our way to the other end of town…
Took a fun pic 🙂
And found some maple pecan ice cream. Yes please!
Happy with our treats 🙂
Just love this cute little town. 🙂
We walked back to the covered bridge and took some pictures there…
Pretty views of the back side of town…
We made it back to our room and spent some time relaxing…I told Jacob to send the kids and the animals, I didn’t want to go back home haha…
We got ready for dinner and headed back out!
We walked to Doc Ponds, and thankfully put our name down early because this place filled up quick! It was delicious so I was not surprised about that!
So cute 🙂
We walked back towards town a bit, the sun setting was so pretty behind the church.
Probably my favorite picture from the whole trip!
🙂
We were laughing about Jacob finding a new job at this accounting firm haha…
And then made it back to AWOL for a cozy night in!
