After getting in late Saturday night, we got up Sunday morning, changed and headed out to find church!

It was so nice and cool this morning, and we were close enough that we decided to walk.

We stopped at a coffee shop on the way to grab coffee and a bite to eat! Greystone was so yummy!

I just loved walking through this part of town and seeing all of the brownstones, so many beautiful buildings.

After walking around and finally calling someone (haha), we found Christians in Boston, and had a wonderful worship service.

I was SO happy walking down these sidewalks, fall leaves blowing all around us.

Why yes, I think I could live here.

After church, we walked to eat some brunch at Thorntons! It was delicious!

We opted to eat outside and enjoyed the cooler weather!

After we ate, we walked over to the Boston Symphony Orchestra Hall to hear Mahler’s 8th Symphony. I’ve been obsessed with Mahler for years, I mean, how could you not be when you played French Horn for 11ish years!

I have seen a couple of other symphonies from Mahler in person, so excited to check one more of the list!

This one was special too because of the choral parts, there was a boys choir and the Boston choir performing “The Symphony of a Thousand today!” It was truly amazing.

I’m a happy lady!

Thanks for an amazing performance BSO!

It really just blows my mind how a composer could fit all of these moving parts together, he was a genius.

We walked around a bit more…

and then went back to our hotel to change into some comfy clothes.

Here’s the outside of where we stayed!

We went to Luke’s for dinner, because I told Jacob that we just HAD to get a good lobster roll while we were in Boston.

Yes, I ate every. single. bite. These things were SO good.

We facetimed our little bubbas to tell them goodnight, and kind of got organized to head to Vermont the next day! Check out day 1 of our trip here!
So glad you got to see the Symphony! And love that lobster roll! Mom
